Pioneers in Sustainability

"Pioneers in Sustainability" - How to successfully combine Career and Sustainability

What drives people who motivate others? How can career and sustainability be successfully combined? How can own ideas change the world?

Within the event series "Pioneers in Sustainability", students will learn how to combine both success in a professional career with engagement in the field of sustainability. Through the direct exchange with outstanding personalities on their personal experiences and stories, students will learn about groundbreaking ideas in sustainability, milestones and biographies.

Format of "Pioneers in Sustainability" events

The events take place three times per year and are composed in three parts:

• A personality from the field of sustainability presents personal career steps, motivations, visions and the obstacles faced along the way
• In a subsequent "Speed-Dating" session the event participants exchange their ideas and questions around the topic of "change agents"
• In turn, the best ideas will be presented and discussed during a concluding Apéro

The event is organized by ETH Sustainability in cooperation with Collegium Helveticum and W.I.R.E.
